SUMMARY: 42, two bedroom flats and 14 three storey houses across 3 linear sites on the perimeter of a 1970’s Radburn housing estate. The sites were created by demolition of previous bedsit blocks as part of the re-modelling of the entire estate – also masterplanned by Triangle – and face a protected area of Ancient Woodland.
All houses and most of the flats have views across the woodland valley and the houses also have undercroft car-parking which facilitate woodland views for street level passers-by.
SERVICES: Full architectural services from inception to planning submission for Great Places Housing Group . All construction drawings for contractor at post-contract stage
Pre-planning work by Triangle also included option appraisals, masterplanning and extensive community consultation. As well as the new build housing, we were also commissioned to prepare all construction detailing for the general refurbishment work.
