PROJECT: New-build Housing
SUMMARY: 40 two and three bedroom houses located on the site of the former Radcliffe Civic Centre. Due to its proximity to the amenities and transport links of the town centre, the site was considered ideal for redevelopment into much needed housing. Homes are a mix of affordable rent and shared ownership.
The development lies opposite a Grade II listed church, which provided a key influence on the design of the scheme. Open space has been retained and enhanced to create a focal point for the development, with existing walkways upgraded to improve connections across the site.
SERVICES: Full architectural services from inception to planning submission for Great Places Housing Group. All construction drawings for contractor at post-contract stage.
