PROJECT: New Build Housing

SUMMARY: New build housing development on 2 adjacent sites in Sheffield for Great Places Housing Group, comprising 34 new build houses (including 3 bungalows). 60% 2 bed, 40% 3 bed split.

This development has contributed to the regeneration of this neighbourhood, helping to reactivate the eastern portion of Buchanan Crescent. The redevelopment improves this section of the key pedestrian route and introduces much more natural surveillance of the route and surrounding area. The rear boundaries of the surrounding existing dwellings have become protected by the new dwellings and therefore are now less vulnerable to attack.

SERVICES: Full architectural services for GPHG, from inception to completion. All construction drawings for the contractor at post-contract stage. Pre-planning work by Triangle also included option appraisals, masterplanning and extensive community consultation.
